Union County, Illinois, Schools
Part of this project is to locate information, photos, and stories about the all of the schools in the county which were in operation for any length of time. George Parks in his History of Union County, Volume 2, lists a number of the rural schools which were still in operation in 1935. This source is the beginning basis for the rural schools listed. As more come to light, they will be added.
