St. Anne's Building Preservation Update

2007 Progress

  • Outdoor spot lighting
  • Bathroom is almost complete
  • Kitchen is being planned

2005 Progress

  • Complete replacement of the floor joists
  • Installation of new hardwood floor
  • Heating and Air-Conditioning including ductwork
  • Electrical wiring
  • Reinforcement of structure
  • Restoration of the Estey Reed Organ
  • New sign out in front
  • Landscaping

2004 Progress

  • Ceiling work has been in progress this fall.
  • Power has been connected to the building.
  • Anonymous donation will be used to purchase lights which were from a now-demolished Mound City church.
  • AmerenCIPS grant of $5,000 to connect power to the building.
  • Goal - to get the ceiling fixed before the sesquicentennial celebration.
  • Ornament fundraiser planned...have you bought yours yet?
  • Mitford Tea Party fundraiser also planned... Considered a success!

Previous Efforts

The committee of P.A.S.T. working on this project is pleased to announce that the roof has been completely reshingled. Thanks to all who so graciously donated in any way for this step of the project and to David Weaver and D.W. Builders for their fine work.
